With nearly two decades of experience in human resources, Sandra Ortiz serves as Rand Technology’s Global Director, Talent and Culture. She directs all elements of the payroll and benefits processes, regulatory compliance, recruitment, staff onboarding, training, and performance evaluations for the company’s US and global operations. Her duties also include developing and implementing personnel policies and procedures, as well as publishing and updating Rand’s handbook to outline job requirements for all employees as necessary.
Sandra’s work history includes senior human resources positions at one of the nation’s leading providers of comprehensive, technologically advanced tax and flood services to the financial industry. She led the company’s multi-state payroll and benefits program, was responsible for onboarding and offboarding staff, and managed all aspects of legal compliance with federal and state reporting regulations.
Sandra previously she served human resources roles for a large property management company, a major California non-profit company dedicated to providing affordable housing to a diverse community of constituents in addition to a well-known, national-brand fitness center.
Sandra holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a specialization and certification in human resources management from the University of Phoenix.
