Problem
CoolIT, an emerging data center company, faced challenges with limited engineering and purchasing resources making it difficult to bring their product to market efficiently. Initially, CoolIT was sourcing components from Asia, but their customer requested that the materials be supplied by a North American vendor. CoolIT specifically needed a UL-approved pump for their cooling systems to quickly meet the new requirements.

Rand facilitated the sourcing, registered pricing, and sent samples to CoolIT for fluid testing and analysis.

With Rand's assistance, CoolIT was able to get the initial pumps approved and placed a PO for 16 additional units for further testing with an EAU of 7,000 units at $82.61 each.
